2009 Summer Reading Program

Kickoff:  Wednesday, June 3, 1pm-6pm
Come sign up for the summer reading program & Check out the book fair!  We will have a special guest attending, so don't miss it!  Children not able to attend the kickoff may sign up for the reading program ANYTIME throughout the summer at storytimes?

Scholastic Buy 1, Get 1 Free" book fair:
Monday, 6/1-Wednesday, 6/3 9am-6pm

Be Creative @ Your Library

Storytimes:  *Mondays* 6:30pm: targeted to 3-8 year olds, but all ages welcome

                    * Thursdays* 9:30am: preschool (3-5 years)
                                         11am Infant/'Toddler (up to 3 years)
                                         1:30pm: preschool (3-5 years)

Weekly Themed Programs:

         Mondays, Tuesdays, & Wednesdays from 10-11am
                               ~targeted to 5-10 year olds

                               June 8-10: Visual Arts
                               June 15-17: Dance & Movement
                               June 22-24: Textiles
                               July 6-8:  Music & Rhythm
                               July 13-15: Drama & Storytelling
                               July 20-22: Free Play!

There will be NO programs/storytimes/lunches the week of June 29th

FREE Lunch Program

The Library will be serving FREE lunches to Kids Monday-Thursday @ 11:30am, June 15th to June 25th and July 6th to July 30th. Meals are prepared at the Kenton High School cafeteria with funding from the U.S.D.A.
